Take two 90 hz display's and run them at half a phase difference. Now you can display 180 frames per second if you see the 2 display's as one.
Game generates 45 times per second a left eye and a right eye. Brainwarp generates interpolated images for the right eye, based on the original right eye frame.
Now at 90 hz:
T1: left eye = original left eye game image, right eye = blank
T2: left eye = blank, right eye = interpolated right eye image
T3: left eye = original left eye game image, right eye = blank
T4: left eye = blank, right eye = interpolated right eye image
If it would work this way it would just be a variant on ASW. I don't know for sure it works like this but I'd say this is the only way it would make sense.
I highly doubt this works better than ASW though.
