Me too and to be honest, we do indeed need to wait 'till the 'Ti' version of the next gen NVIDIA card is released to stand even a chance of running our 8K-X's at a mighty 4K per eye. If we look back at the GTX 1080 release date, The 'Ti' card of Pascal came a whole 10 months after the initial release.
If this occurs again, we may well have to wait until 2019 to buy a Volta/Ampera 'Ti' GPU to utilise 8K-X in all it's glory.
So frustration/excitement over investing a lot of money aside, it doesn't matter if Pimax delay the 8K-X for a relatively long time (for 8K-X) as we literally can't use it yet. In a way, a relief and it makes waiting much easier.
