1 Review. LOL.
To those who backed Pimax in the kickstarter campaign. Backing is not the same as Purchasing, right? There Is a risk involved. That's the nature of investments. Only in this case there is a pretty good chance you don't lose everything. You might lose your mind waiting, but this is the price a n00b pays on an investment. Good investments take time to mature. Pimax kickstarted did better than they anticipated. Better than Oculus. Try to remember the reasons for that ... they have already shown they can get closer to a certain kind of ideal VR experience than the others, and for a somewhat reasonable price.
You have not lost your money. You have not lost your Investment. Maybe Pimax needs to hire a few more people to work on their problems, yes. They said themselves they were going to CES to connect with tech-savvy people To Get Constructive Criticism. Do you want them to hide in the shadows? Do you want them to never participate unless they're perfect? That's not the goal today. Today is to connect, be present. BE REAL with the tech-savvy public.
They want to Grow, and Learn. But some people have to make everything painful if they don't get what they want NOW!
They are interested in being aware of where they are short. That is Not par for the course for many startups. It's actually unusual. They're seeking to reach perfection by taking the step of opening themselves up to criticism and being vulnerable, collecting Extremely Valuable data, and then some of those who are "backing" them come out with the knives dulled up ready to carve them apart. For what? Wanting to know realistically where they are at? So they don't disappoint you, the "backer".
Slow down. Take a few nice even nourishing breaths. Everything is as was said it would be. One review does not make a shit show, and they did not promise the second coming of Hamilton in VR. Be the "backer" you would want to have.
