yup and thats worth supporting, maybe sending a signals to all other HMD makers who come with 1080p or 1440p.
Its like they scared to aim high even if they have the money and knowledge to do so. I don't know who is gonna buy their stuff, but here is where big innovation might prove to payoff very well for someone in this VR world.
I call it milking.
Still waiting for the first smartphone with decent Battery capacity.
Or wait maybe put in same face recognition, yes thats what we Consumers really craving for the last 10 years, everybody complaining about smartphones not having facial recognition, next step maybe voice recognition?
anyway real competition is better for our consumers then corporate handshake deals as Aneurism said ,at the end of the day because you get more value for buck, or better tech for your buck so to speak.
The question you should ask yourself is without pimax..how long do you think it would take before the big companies would even start to think 4k HMD?
Last player in town was HMD Odyssey from samsung and what resolution they come with?
Exactly...a little bit better resolution then vive/oculus.
I personally would admit i would buy the samsung HMD if they had upped the resolution to at least 2160p each eye.
But i guess thats too big of a jump for them, oh well PIMAX you take my money instead then..
