He had not accepted my contribution for using a non-valid credit card. I am about to use a credit that is accepted, but first I would like to know if I can still add the hand montion by putting 100 dollars more to my total contribution?

Hi, the kickstarter campaign is over, so if you want to add some modules, you can buy it on our official website in the future. Thank you

I would like to pledge 100 dollar extra for the hand motion, is that still possible?

One more question I just changed my payment card, but how long does it take for it to be validated and can you send me a successful confirmation email?

Please I need help. You are not accepting my cards (neither debit nor credit master card) I am from Mexico and I need to know what type of bank cards are valid.

Hi, I’m sorry for that. The campaign is closed, you cannot change the pledge via Kickstarter any more. However, you can buy it on our official website in the future. We will inform you after the official website is officially launched, thank you.

A project I’m backing just succeeded and my pledge was declined. What do I do?

If your pledge was declined, log in to Kickstarter and click the “Fix payment” button in the banner at the top of your screen. This will guide you through the process of changing your payment method. We’ll also send you an email every 48 hours with a direct link to correct the issue. But don’t delay: backers have 7 days to resolve payment issues before they’re dropped from the project. We’ll also automatically retry your pledge at the end of this timeframe.

It may not necessarily be the case that there’s a specific issue with your card, so much as that you’ll need to ask your bank why this charge in particular is being declined. You may also want to include the details of this transaction, such as:

  • The charge being from Kickstarter.

  • The amount pledged for the project.

  • The date when Kickstarter attempted to collect your pledge

  • this was the date that the project you backed ended. If the project hasn’t ended yet, you can use the date you attempted to pledge.

Once you’ve contacted your bank, feel free to log in to the Kickstarter account from which you pledged and click the “Fix Payment” button in the “Important Notifications” banner.

How do I add a new credit card to my account?

You can save a new credit card to your account by heading to the Payment Methods tab of your Account Settings and clicking the green ‘Add a new card’ button.

If you’d like to change your payment details for a live pledge, please refer to this section.

What forms of payment can I use to make a pledge?

You can use a debit or credit card associated with Visa, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, or American Express. Discover and JCB cards are currently only accepted for US-based projects.

We do not currently accept Maestro or Visa Electron cards. If using a pre-paid credit card, please make sure that the card has a value of at least $1 more than your pledge amount.
