[Resolved]Headset recognized, but not controllers or lighthouses

@olanjis
I didn’t had a folder named lighthouse in this directory. I’ve been wiping this runtime folder as a recommendation from another user.

If you don’t mind.

When you’ll have your teamviewer session with support, could you take note of the procedure they’ve taken. If we can end up with a general solution, even if complex, we might not have to go through the hassle of going by tech support, opening tickets and waiting for a teamviewer session.

Thanks :slight_smile:

Try this “C:\ProgramData\pimax\runtime\config”

@Doman.Chen

Hi there, thanks for the reply.

I did had some files in there that were created 4 months ago and updated last week. I did a couple of things and nothing worked so far.

All of this is done from the administrator account using “Run as administrator” every time an exe is launched.

  1. Uninstalled PiTool software
  2. Deleted theses folders:
    2.1 C:\ProgramData\pimax
    2.2 C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Pimax
    2.3 C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\PiTool
  3. Restarted computer
  4. Installed latest version on PiTool (V1.0.1.132)
  5. Restarted computer
  6. Launch PiTool software
  7. Powered On the Pimax 5K+ and both lighthouses
  8. Ran the room setup

After all that, I tried rebooting the computer, the pimax and lighthouse a couple of times without any change.

In the end I got this:

With a the lighthousedb.json looking like this

{
“base_stations” : [],
“known_objects” : [
{
“deviceClass” : “hmd”,
“serialNumber” : “LHR-48A49121”
},
{
“deviceClass” : “hmd”,
“serialNumber” : “LHR-D6FA0333”
}
],
“known_universes” : [],
“revision” : 3
}

Any help appreciated :slight_smile:
